SQUEAKS AND RATTLES
NOTE: Squeaks and rattles are caused by improperly controlled relative motion between vehicle components. There are 4 ways to prevent squeaks and rattles.
- Attach the component that squeaks or rattles securely.
- Separate the components that squeak or rattle to prevent contact.
- Insulate the components that squeak or rattle.
- Insulate low uniform friction surfaces to eliminate stickslip motion.

Older children who have outgrown
booster seats should wear the
vehicle's seat belts.
The manufacturer instructions that
come with the booster seat state the
weight and height limitations for that
booster. Use a booster seat with a
lap-shoulder belt until the child
passes the fit test below:
